Welcome, welcome, welcome! On this wonderful and greatly anticipated day, we celebrated our YSG graduations! It was a time of joy as we looked back upon our ICC journey with all its wonderful memories. We also welcomed our new chapter members!

Our icebreakers took place in the garden, led by Jern Ling and Eunice! In the first activity, we had to go around high-five-ing people and saying "I'm a busybody!" We also had to tell each other three interesting facts about ourselves.

Now for game No. 2! This activity was similar to Rock, Paper, and Scissors, but with a twist: Rock, paper, and scissors was now Samson, Delilah, and the lion! Samson would defeat the lion, the lion would defeat Delilah, and Delilah would defeat Samson.

After the game, everyone went around congratulating each other for a job well done.

Then it was time for dinner! The table was filled with an array of interesting foods, and we had a time of fellowship.

Once dinner was over, we began our indoor session. Going in alphabetical order according to names, the Coaches took turns sharing their expectations when they joined Words ALIVE and whether those expectations were met. We could see that they were proud of the progress their speakers had made.

Charis and I put together a timeline video for this event. It presented pictures, showing how much the speakers have grown, from our very first Words ALIVE meeting to the present. We had fun seeing how much we've changed.

After the video, it was time to receive our certificates! Individual families went up, and the Coaches talked about their Speakers and their ICC journey. We've definitely been through a lot, but it was worth it.

And so ends our celebration meeting! This is my last ICC blog post, so I would like to say how much I appreciate the people in my chapter. They have helped me grow in tremendous ways, both in speaking abilities and in character as well. I believe that he things I've learned in the past two years will stick with me throughout my life, and that they will be the groundwork for greater things to come. To the Coaches, I want to say thank you for your faithful involvement in the chapter and your contributions to my life. To my fellow Speakers, I urge you to press on and become the people God wants you to be. As for the new chapter members, you have a long journey ahead of you. You will experience times when you feel like giving up or settling for the satisfactory, but I encourage you to press on and remember that once you jump the last hurdle, you will realize that it was all worth it.
