This Sunday, we started with "Blow Wind Blow" again (no wonder the haze is all gone!). But this time round, if you are out, you have to tell a story using any three pictures from the nine pictures given. In this icebreaker, we are required to respond fast both physically and mentally, and be a creative impromptu story teller.

Next, our Chapter Sponsor Coach Joseph threw us a meaningful question- "What makes some people more prepared in crisis"? "Being filled with the Spirit", " Fearing God", and "Being familiar with the truth" were some of the answers shared by the speakers. Coach Joseph illustrated that life is actually a series of preparations. Man is made up of body ( physical ), soul (mind) and spirit (consciousness). When we are put to a test, the first test is the spirit. If we have been constantly fed by the spirit of God, we will respond with God's Spirit. But when there is nothing in our spirit, our soul will take over. When our soul takes charge, we will follow our mind, doing what we think is right in our own eyes. If we have nothing in our soul too, the body will then take control. This usually leads to depression, anger, etc.

In conclusion, we must be spiritually strong at all times, to face any circumstances in life. We were reminded again that there are two tracks in ICC :- portfolio as well as communication with conviction.
Then, we proceeded with our portfolio coaching before the speakers practiced presenting our respective speeches to the chapter.
First off was Jern Ling and Jern Yoong who did their humorous duo interpretation, "Are you My Mother?"

The next duo interpretation was by Eunice and Nat. They interpreted a meaningful and funny story, "Horton Hears A Who".

The next pair was Ian and Ranen performing a serious story about hope "The Sheaf of Grain".

Then Eliza presented a persuasive speech.

And last of all, Evan presented, with much confidence, "Hello My Name Is...", which is his first YSG1 speech. Well done, Evan!

After all the wonderful presentations, we headed outside for a scrumplicious... or is it delumptious? Or is it...? Oh, never mind... for a very yummy "tea break"... The adults called it dinner. Oh wells. we had pizza and sandwiches and Aunty Michelle's refreshing thong sui. :D :P
And then we called it a day. Good bye and see you soon!
